Delhi Metro is too costly

Why isn't DUSU doing anything regarding the price of travelling in delhi metro , 100's of students must be using it on a daily basis and the ticket prices are so high , when we can have a DTC pass , why can't we have a similar thing with the metro and this must have been done a long time ago since metro has been there for more than 5 years now ,but nothing has been done , what are the presidents and other people at DUSU doing ??
